Receiving can be more difficult than giving.

Did you know that receiving can be more difficult than giving?

Maybe you have been helping and supporting those around you for many years. Maybe you don’t even remember exactly when you started out helping other people.

You help with pleasure and it gives you fulfillment. It makes you feel that you have purpose in life and people need YOU.

Some days you just hope that when you are in the same situation as they are, the people you helped will see and hear your need for help. In the same way that you helped them without even thinking about it, no doubts!

Personally, I don’t agree with the fact that everything you give comes back to you. That creates expectations and those can’t always be granted in return.

I do believe that when people do things intentionally and there is a negative energy attached to it, it will come back to them in a form of energy that is definitely not yours. Some people will want to help you out, but are not always in the position to give something back in the form of attention or something else.

Other people just don’t want to help so you might get so disappointed and wonder how on earth your sensitive children have to survive in a world that sometimes takes advantage of people who are prone to please from a place of pure empathy.

That specific thought, might make you feel anxious once in a while.

Sometimes animals can be the only ones you feel comforted by, somehow they “understand, see and hear you” in your full glory. The relation with animals isn’t complicated, they are loyal, see you for who you are and lift you up. No strings attached and that is such a gratifying feeling. Once in a while you might wish that people could be more like animals.

For the last several years I am surrounded by people who help, support ,and think along with me without wanting anything in return.

Just because they believe in me and my work. After decades of not experiencing any of that, I must say that it sometimes can still feel scary and positively overwhelming at the same time.

Receiving is beautiful, enjoy it!
